Nomad Cafe is a leader in the growing green business movement. We are certified by the Alameda County Department of Environmental Health's Green Business Program, which ensures that participating businesses maintain the following environmental commitments:

- Develop and implement practices that prevent pollution and waste
- Be an environmentally responsible business within our community

- Green Business Program, Alameda County Department of Environmental Health - Pollution Prevention
- Food Service Tech Center - Energy Conservation
- East Bay Municipal Utility District - Water Conservation
- East Bay Municipal Utility District - Wastewater
- City of Oakland - Solid Waste Reduction
