A New Play on Cafe Music (live from Nomad Cafe)
We are now selling Nate West’s debut album — The Old Later (live from Nomad Cafe). That’s right, live from Nomad Cafe.
Nate’s album illustrates the 21st Century folk recording — live from our cafe! Nate recorded the album inside Nomad Cafe during a set back in January with a sound guy. Nate liked it so much he decided to turn it into his debut album. Just Nate, the crowd, our cafe and his guitar. The days of scratchy basement recordings are over, but technology can still lend itself to those early beginnings through a 21st Century process.
The album is only $8 and would be a great gift idea this holiday season or addition to any CD collection.

Nate will play a show at Nomad on Sunday, January 10th from 11am-1pm to highlight our partnership.

Live Music: Tori Roze and The Hot Mess
Halloween show: October 31st, 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm.

Tori Roze is a soul-singer to the core. Currently living in San Diego, Tori has been writing music since the age of sixteen, utilizing the medium to primarily channel those things that cannot be understood merely by the act of saying the words themselves. Seeking nothing more than to shed light on the human experience, Tori is a key artist in conveying the emotional intent behind a song. Her edge being that of a heart-driven soul mixed with the nitty gritty truth, she is sure to leave audiences with the sense of relative human connection and a vocal style that is absolutely unforgettable…

TapIt Water
Here’s a cool idea, how about an easily searchable list of places you can refill your water bottle? That’s what Tapit Water is. I just wish they had an iPhone app as well, oh wait…
